    Garden Home Offices in Cambridgeshire

A garden home office should feel like a proper room, not a glorified shed with a plug socket. We build insulated, fully wired, year-round workspaces across Cambridge, Huntingdon, Peterborough and the surrounding villages — designed for full-time hybrid working, not weekend hobby use.

    Our home office build spec

    • Insulated to current Building Regs U-values — warm in January, cool in July, no portable heaters or fans needed
    • Aluminium double-glazed windows and doors as standard, with thermally broken frames and low-e glass
    • Dedicated consumer unit fed from the house, sized for monitors, dual displays, a heat pump and EV charger if needed
    • Cat6 hard-wired data alongside the power runs — far more reliable than Wi-Fi for video calls 20m from your router
    • Acoustic insulation in walls and ceiling — quieter than most spare bedrooms, ideal for client calls

    Common home office layouts

    Single-person office

Typically 3m x 3.5m. Room for a sit-stand desk, a tall storage unit and a comfortable chair for a guest. Most clients add a small kitchenette nook.

    Two-person / partner office

4m x 5m or larger. Twin desks, meeting table, often a separate Cat6-fed soundproofed call booth in one corner.

    Office + studio hybrid

Half desk space, half quiet studio for podcasting, photography or creative work. Acoustic panelling and blackout blinds specified at design stage.
