Why We Started Arcadia. The Honest Version.

Before we were builders and landscapers, we were clients.

Over the years we'd completed multiple property renovations. Our own investments, our own money, our own homes. We hired tradesmen, paid the going rate, and trusted people to do the job properly.

Some did. A lot didn't.

What we kept coming across was the same pattern. Premium prices. Average work. Tradesmen who treated every job as something to get through rather than something to get right. Details that got skipped. Finishes that weren't finished. The kind of work you'd never accept if it was your own home.

That experience taught us something we couldn't un-know. There are homeowners all over Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire having exactly the same experience. People who've saved up for a project, trusted someone to do it properly, and been left disappointed. Not by cowboys. By supposedly professional tradesmen who just didn't care enough.

So we started Arcadia.

Not because we spotted a gap in the market. Because we genuinely believed we could do it better. Because we knew what it felt like to be on the other side of a job done badly, and we weren't willing to do that to someone else's home.

The principle we built the business on is straightforward. Every project we take on gets treated the same way we'd treat our own home. Proper groundwork. Right materials. No shortcuts. If something isn't right, we say so and we sort it before we leave.

That means we're not the cheapest option in Cambridgeshire or Bedfordshire. We never claimed to be. What we do claim is that when we finish a job, it's actually finished. The kind of finish you notice. The kind that lasts.

We work across Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Peterborough, Bedfordshire and the Stamford area on everything from full house renovations and extensions to porcelain patios, block paving driveways, artificial grass and garden transformations.

If that sounds like what you've been looking for, we'd like to talk.
